The sweeping Healthcare Reform legislation will affect everyone. Our goal is to be a resource and guide to our clients as we move toward the changes in 2014. A changing marketplace
There are many changes coming in 2014. The good news for some is that states are developing exchanges with financial assistance for individuals up to 400% of the federal poverty level, and those with health conditions can no longer be denied. These improvements come with a purchasing mandate, limited choices with regard to plan design, and increased premiums. Large group employers need to comply with many mandates and maintain strict adherence to parameters established for plan designs and contributions that meet the definition of affordable and provide minimum value.
